Creating Happiness by Contemplating Death

What is Death All About?

From the time you arrived through the portal into this world, Death has been your angel, your north star, your guru.

Death is the only constant reminder of how beautiful, fragile, and magical life really is. If you contemplate death in each moment, then Death encourages you to live with pure intent and purpose. It reminds you of why you are alive and having this experience in the first place.

How long will you wait until you allow Death to become your guide, your elder, your wisdom, your teacher?

Death reminds us to love, appreciate, and respect ourselves and our journeys, no matter what is going on externally. The single most important thing you can do in life is to experience and love yourself for exactly who you are, and then use your fulfilment and love to help others find themselves as well. We are here to collectively love and heal, but your part of the healing the collective starts with simply loving and healing your self.

How Does Life Change if You Contemplate Death?

In one breath, everything you know in this life can transform through death.

Is it worth waiting until a loved one passes, or a “near-death” experience occurs before you start living your moments in loving awareness?

How would the way you interact in a moment with your mother change if you knew it would be the last time you ever saw her? How much more open would your heart be? How much more love and compassion would you be sharing? How would the topics of your conversation change?

How would the interaction with your partner change if you knew that when they left you’d never see them again? Would you still argue from a place of jealousy, resentment, insecurity, judgement, or expectation? Would you take for granted the cosmic alliance and sacred connection that takes place while making love?

If you knew you were going to pass, how would it affect your needs and wants? How would it affect the way you spend your time? How would your priorities change?

Every interaction of each moment is a direct impact on the purpose and passion you bring to this world.

Death is What Makes Life Precious

Death is what makes life precious. If life was without death, nothing would have meaning. The scarcity of life is what gives it meaning.

Death is constantly showering you with meaning and purpose. Are you receiving the gifts or are you throwing them away?

Are you taking your moments for granted or are you appreciating them?

What if you allowed death to free you from all your pain and suffering, as opposed to blaming it for creating your pain and suffering?

Loving Your Death Teaches You to Love Yourself

Each tear that kisses your cheek when things feel heavy is a bonus. Each wiggle of your booty when life feels exciting is astonishing. Each inhalation of your angelic breath is pure magic. Every interaction in every experience you have is divine.

Whatever you are doing, do it so you feel it. Do it with intention and purpose. Do it with love for yourself. Do it with love for the world. Do it for the light.

Death is not morbid, it is serene. Death is not cold and dark, it is vibrant and bright. If you live in contemplation of death, everything will fall into place. You must be patient and trust the process.

When you love your death, you learn that being your authentic self is easy. There is no fear left to manipulate the way you think and interact in the external world.

Loving your death teaches you to love yourself.

Join me as I navigate the waters of creating happiness by contemplating death in episode 36 of The Never Stop Peaking podcast. Big love!

Are You Paying Attention? Higher Self Habits, Intuitive Relations, and Plant Medicine Healing with Lecia Fox

Are You Paying Attention?

How do you allow pain and energy to move through you when a deep relationship in your life comes to an end? What does it feel like to live a life in dedication to your excitement, self-love, and ultimate creative journey? Are you paying attention to the universal signs that are trying to guide you to your highest self?

A few years ago I was introduced to Lecia Fox via a mutual friend. Lecia is a Light Worker, Activator, and HigherSelf Life Coach. In simple terms, she’s packed full of wisdom and light. We planned on recording a podcast episode, but the Universe intervened a few times and it never worked out. Fast forward to today and it all makes sense.

The Universe Wants to Play With You

Lecia and I both look for signs from the Universe to help guide us in our business, spiritual, and awareness journeys. Over the past few months, we started having so many synchronicities that it became crystal clear that it was time to connect. She is one of my favorite’s to tune into because her authenticity glows, and the way that she teaches is of the highest form of mastery.

“What are you actually afraid of? Your highest self has infinite wisdom…”

Lecia Fox

In this episode, Lecia and I freely explore the collision of our journeys, the magic universal wand that is always guiding you, Pythagorean numerology, the process of transitioning through deep relationships, ayahuasca and plant medicine healing journeys, higher self habits, the intimacy of intuition, self forgiveness, unconditional love and more.

Wisdom From the Dalai Lama

Shortly after our episode, Lecia sent me this beautiful reminder in the mail. I wanted to share it because it packs a punch that is incredibly relevant to all of us.

“To be aware of a single shortcoming within oneself is more useful than to be aware of a thousand in somebody else. Rather than speaking badly about people and in ways that will produce friction and unrest in their lives, we should practice a purer perception of them, and when we speak of others, speak of their good qualities. If you find yourself slandering anybody, first imagine that your mouth is filled with excrement. It will break you of the habit quickly enough.” – H.H. The XIV TH Dalai Lama

How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get? Exploring the Feel Good Life with Sarah Seidelmann

How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get

No matter what type of fear, procrastination, or resistance gremlins enter your life, there is always one thing you can control that will stop their invasion: your energy.

Will you allow these negative forces to drain and taint your energy, or will you take control of your energy and use it to learn, reflect, and move closer to your visions?

Over many years, I have intermittently struggled with allowing myself to feel my happiest because of some sort of external factor that was bothering me. Sometimes this shows up in the form of depression, full-body inflammation, or a lack of self-worth and often leads to a downward spiral. Because of the negative experiences, I sometimes created imaginary limitations for myself in an attempt to establish protection from more bad experiences moving forward. I was removing parts of my life that brought me happiness and love because I was scared that something might go wrong and make me unhappy. I was settling for a middle ground of simply existing rather than experiencing. Does this seem familiar?

You see, the security blanket is actually the problem in itself. We hold ourselves back from our dreams because we are afraid we will fall on our face. In other words, we aren’t allowing ourselves to reach our heightened states of mind, body, and spirit. We aren’t willing to let allow ourselves to blossom into the flowers we can be. We are sacrificing our lives to fear.

So, How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get?

What happens if you let love in? What happens if you say yes to everything that excites you? What happens if you trust in your intuition? What happens if you release your fears and doubts? How will things change if you surrender, let go, and become one with your passions?

“It is a mess out there, but sit up tall, smile, and laugh. That’s your work.”

Sarah Seidelmann

I first heard Sarah Seidelmann talk on a podcast she did with a mentor of mine, Jared Angaza, on “the wisdom of the wild things,” and I was immediately catapulted into a stronger, happier mindset. She’s one of those rare people that can change the way you look at life in its entirety with just a few words.

Sarah spent two decades practicing medicine, specializing in surgical pathology, and raising her family. But something started shifting in her, drawing her into an exploration of deeper creativity, nature and intuition. She wanted to figure out what would make her FEEL GOOD all the time, and how she could apply her experiences to help others do the same. So, she took a six-month sabbatical from her job and started exploring.

Well, when you follow your bliss, magical things start to happen. Sarah followed hers through shamanic journeying, animal totems, and an interesting meeting with one of her spirit guides, Alice the Elephant.

To date, Sarah and Alice have co-authored multiple books, including their newest release, How Good Are You Willing to Let it Get? Daily FEELGOOD Inspiration for Creatives, Healers, and Helpers. (Secret**: She has a card deck coming soon too!)

I’m ecstatic to have Sarah on this episode of Never Stop Peaking, as we explore universal synchronicity, spirit-animal guides, the magic of nature, shamanic journeying, life transformations, the creative process, and more
